jPDFWriter is a Java class library that allows you to create PDF documents directly from your Java programs without having to install any third party drivers or software. jPDFWriter emulates the standard Java classes to print and draw graphics to reduce the learning curve when using the library and reuse existing code. PDFWriter can create PDF files in two ways: 1) PDF files can be created directly using jPDFWriter's very simple API. Hi,
I am writing a vb.net windows application to send pdf files to printer, one at time, after file is printed I want to get the status from printer as "Printed".

so far I have the code (working) which can send the selected pdf to printer.
Now I am trying to use this following code to get the status of printer, after the file is printed. but, not working.

objCollection value is being "printer property evaluation failed"

Please help me if anyone knows how to do it.

Step 2: You need to handle the Document's PageSetup from Word Object

It could be like

owd.PageSetup.PaperSize = wdPaperLetter
owd.PageSetup.LeftMargin = 1
owd.PageSetup.RightMargin = 1
owd.PageSetup.TopMargin = 1
owd.PageSetup.BottomMargin = 1

where owd is word.interop object

Step 3:

A simple printout would do if you have a PDFWriter (Adobe/CutePDF/DoPDF) installed

Hello... i am in great need of help beeing fairly new to programming Delphi.
I am using a scanner to scan a batch of paperinvoices, on the invoices there are printed a barcode with a id of the invoice. I have come so far as i have extracted all pages to separate files, scanned each file for barcode, and now i have a result in a list like this:

Anyone how understand my poor english and bad explenation?! ;) Need

Not true.
*Everything* you need is in the PDF, you just didn't understand it.

You are probably trying to do something too complicated, especially since you are new to x86 programming. This is not easy stuff to do, especially in assembly.

Chapter 2 in the spec tells you how to access the SMBIOS information:

"On non-EFI systems, the SMBIOS Entry Point structure, described below, can be located by application software by searching for the anchor-string on paragraph (16-byte) boundaries within the physical memory address range
000F0000h to 000FFFFFh."

That means you must write a routine to search memory looking for a key signature. That key is "_SM_"

The code that I pointed you to does something similar with ACPI-it searches for a key named "RSD PTR" in the routine rsdptrSearch. If you change that key in my code to "_SM_" you will now have step 1 completed!

The address you find _SM_ + 18h is the offset of a 32bit pointer to where all the SMBIOS data lives in memory. There is other information in this table that you will also want to know (SMBIOS version at _SM_+6, # of tables at _SM_+1ch)

I wasn't sure either, so I did a pdf search in both standards. There are similar wide character functions in C99, but this one is not among them.
