Enumerating network interfaces in Mono C# on Linux

Posted the message 'Enumerating network interfaces in Mono C# on Linux' on the C# forum.
I need to enumerate the available network interfaces (not just ip addresses) on a Linux box. Anyone got any good ideas on how to do this, beyond rexexping the output of ifconfig?

DjSpirit, yes, yes, I'm still alive.
