Description
Microsoft had a good idea when they created browscap.dll and browscap.ini to use with their web server. In theory someone at Microsoft would constantly keep the browscap.ini file up to date and make it available to its customers. As a result we would all be able to reliably identify all the user agents that visit our websites and know exactly what features they support. In reality Microsoft never made any attempt to keep the file up to date. Other sources did a respectable job for awhile but now those sources are either horribly out of date or no longer exist. I am still here and trying to carry on the mission of providing accurate browser definitions.
