This thing is fabulous. It make OpenGL programming really easy. It contains of course all the basic primitives, but much much more: skeletal and morph-based animation, octree-based collision testing, particle systems, terrain rendering with level of detail management, shadow volumes, physic engine. And there is still a lot of things I have to discover. It's so huge! And it is increasing exponentially. Every week or so a new component get added.

Moreover, there is a very active community. If you have a question, it's rare you don't get an answer in the following hour. There are very competent and helpful people working on this project. And the community has professional programmers as well as amateurs and beginners. That says a lot about the scalibility and ease of use of this library.

The code is open-source, very clean and fast. It's a real pleasure to work with this library.

The only low part I can see is about documentation. The code is well commented and there are tutorials and help file on the main site, but it is a bit short. Programmers prefer keep building new features rather than writing help file. However, when you have a question, a lot of people will answer you on the devoted newsgroup and this compensates somewhat the lack of documentation.
