      <description>I was wondering if any members had experience buying algorithms vs. programming them yourself?  Algorithm libraries (like Numerical Algorithm Group) charge $3000 per year for unlimited downloads.  Do you think that is a good bargain?  Do you have any experience with such a service, and was it a positive experience?  Steve</description>
