nice site for MS-DOS 6.X and earlier operating systems. Can't be used with 32-bit compilers whose programs run on MS-Windows.
For Serial port i/o in 32-bit programs, use win32 api functions CreateFile() to open the serial port, then ReadFile() and WriteFile() to read/write. MSDN has descriptions and example code about how to use these functions for serial ports.
Readcom() and Writecom() are not supported.
