I'm new to vc++.Can anyone tell me What are the upgrades between the vc++ editions 6.0,2008 and 2010.

The newer versions of VS have updated compilers which should be fully compliant with the coding standards of today.

IDE-wise newer features are provided in new releases.

But to be honest I wouldn't use 2010 yet it's still pretty buggy. VS2005 or VS2008 would be the better options if you are looking to use a VS IDE.
