I recently downloaded red hat linux, and installed it, when it boots up it is taking forever, could some1 please post the system requirements for it??<br>

proc: anything provided you have the pacience. I've seen it installed on a 7MHz box.<br>
ram: 8mb is recomended.<br>

are you booting off a floppy? <br>
since it has to decompress the kernel its going to take a bit longer to boot. but you don't have to reboot every day as you do with Windows, so your actually saving time.<br>
