Urgent Urgent Help -- SaMBa Security Settings Posted by syrex on 2 Mar 2004 at 3:05 PM
Can somebody PLEASE tell me what option is used in the security options section of smb.conf to authenticate all users against the security database of an existing WinNT or Win2000 Server??

I want to have a universal login over multiple boxes with heterogeneous Operating systems....namely Win2000, Solaris and Redhat. I want the user to login in ONCE and have access to files in all environments (or even just two...Win2000 andRedhat)....a universal login. Any tips on how I could easily achieve this.

Thanks a million
