Hi guys.. My question is simple. I had UBUNTU installed in my PC DELL XPS 410 in dual boot mode with Windows Vista. I used the boot loader of Windows Vista and get as an option to load the GRUB of Linux whenever I needed to boot linux. I deleted UBUNTU and I wanted to keep Vista only so I can installed another Distro. But GRUB doesn't dissapear from the boot menu, I tried in google almost everything to erase it and live MBR clean with Windows only but nothing, still having the same problem.... :(

Any advise?

From a Microsoft DOS Bootable Disk.
I don't know how to do it (the Bootable Disk) in Vista.
But anyway, you only need th fdisk.exe program (Any Windows 2k/XP/etc).
Run fdisk /mbr
The command delete the "MASTER BOOT RECORD" && Grub Dissapears =D

Maybe you will need to change the file named C:\boot.ini in Notepad.
You should be very careful, to only delete the boot part of Linux/Grub.

:O ... In the very latest versions of Vista, "boot.ini" was replaced with another tool hive like registry and the editor is : bcdedit.exe
