Accessing WInamp API thro' Java Posted by smtalim on 6 Sept 2003 at 7:43 PM
Hello all,

I just joined the forums today and am not to sure whether this is the right place to post my question.

I need to provide a Java interface in one of my projects, through which I can control Winamp (i.e. make it play, stop, pause, etc). I have no idea at all, as to how I need to proceed. Any pointers? All help most appreciated.

Thanks.

You can search a tutorial about how to use ActiveX controls with java and then use the WinAmp ActiveX control. It's named "IWinAmpActiveX Class" and the file is "Program files\Common Files\Nullsoft\ActiveX\2.0\AMPX.DLL"
