My motherboard is MSI KT3 Ultra (Model: MS-6380E) with VIA KT333 chipset. Sound chip is RealTek ACL650 (AC'97 2.2 compitable). Chip has hardware mixer and effect processor.

i have one my selfe ms-6195 and amd slot 1 athlon it is old but for 650Mhz it's very reliablle. i woutin't recomend any thing else!

Thanks for your replies. But what I want to know is there source code (in any language C,Pascal,asm etc.) that directly accesses AC'97 chip and plays sound with it under DOS.
