im programing a virus scanner as a project but i cant figuer out the string to scan the c drive for the virus defantions.. i was looking at virus hammer witch is all in javascript and open source but the code is all in bianry.

If you want to take a look at source code for an antivirus product try

http://www.clamav.net/download/sources

The ClamAV product is licensed under GPL.
