Hi

I am on my final year project and I need to use the serial port on my computer to send commands to another piece of equipment using RS232.
I am using the express version of visual studio 2005.
I dont know how to access the port and send data from it, is there some sort of wizard that will help me set this up?

Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated

Try searching the messageboard for 'serial' I found this link which has implementations of rs232 for .net.
