Hello,

I am facing one problem. we are two persons working on VB 6.0 for software Development on network.
Problem is that when i open software and working on that during that time if other person through network do som work and saves it after that i also saves. after som time when he see his work is saved or not then it is not there as i save after him.

How to solve this problem, i want both to save our work time to time working on same project.

use "source safe" or if you dont want to do that. split the project up in to two modules.. you do your fuctions.. and the other person does theirs

SourceSafe or Perforce, which is free for small teams, and is way better than SourceSafe, especially when it comes to merging files.

Anyway, source control is a must for any project... I just couldn't live without ;)

Its a good job SourceSafe isn't a product of Loreal or Max Factor.

Cue TV Ad ( with jazz funk type music and over produced drums )
