i've got my first proj as a trainee in a comp n my first proj needs me to construct a system that will generate a data planning from some input files.
the prob here is that my syst should also b able to connect 2 the comp web server...browse through the files in it...then download some files from it...then only do the processing
so..i wonder if any1 could help me by giving out some points from where should i start..ideas2...

figured out the way to download files...another prob now is that the URL has to be specific for each doc file i want 2 dload...how can i possibly do that if i do not know the exact URL b4hand???
basically the URL of the documents would look like this:

.../doc/123456/first.xls
.../doc/123778/second.xls
