Hello,
i am a begginer in VB2010 programming. I have recently programed a simple text editor and published it on my website.

www.dachckol.webs.com/dachtype.htm

All the publishing works great but i do have one problem:

When a user installs my program using the install downloaded from the published page, there is no way to set my editor as the default opener for .txt files as once the program is installed there doesn't seem to be any .exe to point to.

My program was published using Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express, the install file is published on the web(link above).

If anyone knows how to make the program a default opener please help.

Thank you,
