I was wondering if anybody could guide me on the following issue.

Everyweek, I have multiple file uploads (around 500-600 files) from one server to other server.

I use FTP but it seems to be very very slow and have to wait for 4-5 hours to all the files to be uploaded.

Is there any way, I can write a script is ASP or Pearl to do the same task faster?
Or is there any other method of transfering files faster?
