Excel And Web Posted by natasha on 30 Jan 2001 at 9:08 AM
Hello!
I will appreciate your help!
We have an Excel file on the server. The ASP page has a link to this file. If a user clicks on this file IE brings this file up. The user may change this file. The user wants to email this file after he made changes w/o saving it first. Is there a way to do it? (if we select "send" from the browser, it will send gabage). What we need probably: when our user clicks on the link, it should launch Excel on the client and open this file in Excel on the client PC. ( that is happenning if the user uses Netscape as a default browser )
