i am new to programming.What is the basic programming i should know for continuing my engg.course.i am planning to do Computer science engg.could anyone help me in informing me about the basic languages.like C.what else should i know.I would be glad if anybody helps me out.Thank u for readers to have patience in reading my msg.

You should start with Basic. (I'd prefer QBASIC or similar, not these DarkBasic, NBasic, LibertyBasic, JustBasic etc.)
