I'm really new new in c/c++ and programing at all
I use visual C++
And I try to make some application but I can't start because "File->Open" is my problem
I read some books and try to find sth in the net but nothing till now
Application have to open pictures (like .jpg,.gif and so on..)

Are you trying to open those image files and display them? That is not
an easy task, and in my opinion, not a beginners task. ...Weather you use an external library or write your own parsers.

If not, can you elaborate more?

If you are writing a parser manually, file formats can be found at http://www.wotsit.org/. It is indeed not a beginner's task.

What API are you using for rendering the images? Some APIs (Like the Win32 API) come with routines that can help with parsing or loading image files.
