Accessing a database Posted by david_jpb on 22 Mar 2010 at 12:37 AM
Hi
Sorry to be so stright to the point, but i'm a little bit in a tight spot.

I need to create a program to access a MS Access database to store some Barcode related info.

The program is pretty much done, but i'm still a bit of an unknown when it gets to accessing another programs. So if anyone could help, i would appreciate.

I can post the program files later on if needed

Well, i have pretty much designed the program.
But I need to make it create/ edit MS Access databases.

On the Ficheiro menu, i need to have the program create / open a database.
While in the Definições menu, i will have the option to whether the changes are saved automatically when the program closes (might delete this option though)

In the first tab (Adicionar produto)
Código is the barcode
Nome the product name
Quantidade the ammount, and the checkbox beneath it is to select a certain ammount, so that when the stock is the same or lower, it activates a warning (of some sort, didn't decide yet)
Data de validade is the expiration date, while emitir.... is the same as the second box in ammount, only for the date

On Editar ou remover produto, i need to have the datagrid retrieve data from the database, and be able to edit it.

Hope i cleared things up

I can still up the files if needed
