Hmmm ... it depends if M$ will get C# and the .NET stuff to run on Linux/Unix/etc ...&lt;br /&gt;
But I think they can co-exist&lt;br /&gt;

I would rather C# not ever become popular unless the language development tools are available for free.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I don't want to have to go through Microsoft to allow me to program like with VC++ and VB.&lt;br /&gt;
