We have ported and app for data entry (for another Matlab program) from Windows to Linux. We want the main data entry field to be highlighted after the button to enter the data his clicked. This allows for faster data entry of this depth number.

Previously, we did this through a Windows call of some sort but have not been able to find a similar method with Linux. So does anyone know of either a Matlab or Linux method for auto-highlighting a text field after clicking a button?
