Really simple Matlab question.. Posted by bas108 on 16 May 2011 at 12:00 PM
It's been a few years since I have used Matlab, and I really need to brush up on my skills.
The project I'm working on requires me to extract data from a .txt file, and replace the data.
Specifically, I need to replace all the 6's in the first column (there are 4 columns and 5,200 rows) with 2's. None of the other columns need changed. I forget how to use Matlab to read specific items from a table and then replace the number. I know I am going to need to use a while loop, I just forget the commands that I'm going to need to use.
This is a very general question, but can anyone give me some help?
