Good day everyone! I was wondering if anyone has an alternative solution to opening a corrupt 1 gig Access 2 database. I've been able to import the tables from some corrupt 1 gigers, except for one table, which ended up being the corrupt table that wouldn't let me open the entire db. I've also experimented with Access' repair and compact function. Are there any other ways to open these db's? Any applications out there that will do this for me?

: Have you looked at the "Access Recovery" program? (http://www.accessrecovery.com/access/index.htm) I downloaded the demo and it did a great job of recovering a portion of my database (the demo only recovers the first 20 rows of each table)...

I think you can try a utility called Advanced Access Repair to repair your Access MDB file. It works rather well for my corrupt Access MDB files. Its web address is http://www.datanumen.com/aar/
