I have code writen in Pascal-like pseudo code with cca 500 rows. The original code is complex algorithm for display trend lines in financial chrts. I want to change the code so will be add numeric walues of the trend lines to original price data. That could to be about 5 - 10 columbs. What programming language will be the best for fast working and also for cca 400 markets and with possibility to work in real time too? .. and what will be the best type of database software (better free). See the attachement.

I need a DB that will store many levels of customer related data, create invoices, post payments (theory only not actually into bank account), allow orders to be placed via user based on phoned in order (creating daily order batch). It needs to integrate with FedEx to pull addressing fields (very easy), number of packages with correct weight based on item ID, then write the master tracking number back to the customer DB. The DB will also have to interface with a graphics program to output X number of prints again based on item ID from the daily order batch. The FedEx and graphics setup need to be a click to open order, confirm and print everything at once as well as causing an invoice paid or open to be printed. There are of course tons of reports I need to be able to create as well. Additionally, I'd like to interface the DB system with my CC gateway for quickly processing payments.
Finally I need to be able to access remotely via pc, android device, or that fruity brand.

Need something custom built.

How to return sets of values based on condition in SQL Server 2005?

I am a beginner in SQL Server 2005 stored procedure. I can't seem to get it working as wanted.

I have a sp that takes in parameter @caseid from a table called annot. @caseid is assigned to value of column src_caseid and can have multiple references (ref_caseid) or none in table annot. I want to set a condition and set proper shepardsflag depending on the column court from table case which I did using INNER JOIN.

Basically this is the scenario:

Table annot - ref_caseid, src_caseid, annotation
Table case - caseid, court

Example of set of results from the INNER JOIN on ref_caseid = caseid like this:

Condition to be set:

From the recordset, if federal court exists, it should only take rows of federal court. If NO federal court is found, then it will take other cases with other court values.

To achieve this, I set a counter for federal court counts. But seems that SQL only reads the last row and set @courtFC value based on it. I've tried order by but doesn't seem working as well.

From sample above, the final shepardsflag value of case 17338 should be = 3 (value of @shep for 'Foll') as it should take rows with "federal court" only AND ignore the rest of the rows.

But the current result is shepardsflag = 2 ; which is wrong

I hope I explain well.

Can someone please help me on the right logic? Should I create a temp table? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I have recently started a shopping website and wanted to have a price comparison feature on it. The price comparison feature would essentially take information from numerous websites such as walmart.com, newegg, amazon, best buy, etc when given access to each API of those respective websites. I was wondering if this is a feasible module to create. There is a module somewhat like this already in existence. It is from the website called Pricegrabber.com. I am unsure how they go about getting this information and whether they use API information in this module, but I figured it would help anybody reading this to understand what I am talking about. If you could provide me with any information about this I would really appreciate it. I am also not sure if this is the appropriate section to post this here as I am new and not very well versed in programming. Thanks for your help!
