Windows XP probhibit direct port access. Try right click on the application icon, and set windows98 emulation, if I remember right!

: I'm writing a program with Delphi3 that manager the printer port LPT1. using assbler instruction (IN & OUT) but when i use my PC in WinME i don't have problem, but the same program in WinXP delphi send me message of error of instruction priviliged.
