I am a student too. The object of being a student is to learn. If someone sends you a program, then what do you learn? Nothing. You should try to code it yourself and ask questions about the problems in your code. Then and only then are many people here inclined to help you.

Running a bit lazy are we hm? The program you search for is right under your right mouse button. Go out to the desktop and right click and select Properties. That's where you select the resolution. What's the purpose of programming? To learn. What's the purpose of such knowledge? To briliant with your knowledge. Therefor it is YOU who gotta try to solve the problem first and then connect to us wiht a SOURCECODE that doesn't work so we can take a look at your code and hopefully improve it to the better.

Did you read carefully? He said picture, not desktop.
I'll tell you how to do this. First open a nice little program called Paint, then open the picture using the "File-Open" menu.
Now comes the hard part. Click on Attributes in the Image menu and set the preferred resolution for your image.
Yay, we did it!

source code, please..

Quite strange.... Guys, let Vahid experience on his own skin what can this "waywardness" do with him. He will realize and understand what you said here. ( By the way I agree with you. ) I can't even understand what Vahid exactly wants...never mind, as I read in my mailbox Vahid moved to photoshop :D

But check the earliest "wish" from another viewpoint. As you can see Vahid doesn't knows english even basically. Though perhaps he doesn't want to be a real big programmer, he is just a programmer by hobby. Maybe he doesn't have time to "waste" time on coding, and he wants a unit which he can use. Just a thought... what do you think?

Ok, maybe I was a little rough, sorry. Anyway Googling gives loads of answers. Here are some of the more interesting:

http://www.vb-helper.com/howto_resize_picture_save.html
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnhcvb03/html/vb03h1.asp
http://www.codecomments.com/archive293-2004-12-350586.html

Take a look at the CopyBitmap library at http://edais.mvps.org/

Hey, they don't have Iranish language at Google!
