i like to check data in the field on inserting? i know that this is possible in SQL.How to perfrom this on paradox table?

I dont understand. If you're inserting, the record does not yet exist, hence there is no data to check..please clarify.

When you would like to insert data from the set of values(Example Paris,Rim,Venecia and no other value)and you must chack does value what you like to insert is in the set?
