ive seen copper effects other than the horizontal copper bars that everyone has made a tutorial for. wavy lines, vertical bars, etc. are they really copper effects and if so what's the theory behind doing them?

are there any good ways to time the pallette shifts other than waiting for retraces that i (very newbie) might not know about?

Sure.You can put in a new vector interrupt handler for the 18.2Mhz clock. In this handler, you can set the palette,flags or whatever. Or you can set the clock to to interrupt and call you handler every 30th of a second etc.<br>
