Michael Jackson had passed away. It is really a shock in the music world. But he will live forever in our hearts with his unique music style. The world is mourning for him. As a music fans, what we can do is to share, save his music, to lift his creating spirit, to beautify and enrich our world.
So this aricle includes the following two parts:

Part Ⅰ:The popular music collections of MJ
MJ’s music from “ABC” to “Write-in choice”, all of them have witnessed MJ’s talents and passion for pop music. To know more about MJ, you can click here .
This is a collection of his music, “Baby Be Mine”, “Bad”, “Billie Jean”, “Black or White”, “Butterflies”, “Dancing Machine”, “Don't Stop Till You Get Enough”, “Human Nature, “The Lady In My Life”, “Man In The Mirror”, “Never Can Say Goodbye”, “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)”, “Remember The Time”, “Rock With You”, “Thriller”, etc.Not all of them are the best, but all of them are worth our listening.

Part Ⅱ: My way of sharing, saving MJ’s music
Because different music players prefer different video/music formats, so I always use a video converter to transfer them into different formats and then send to my friends to enjoy them.
But I am a walkman user, most of the time I use Walkman Video Converter. Now I’d like to share how I save and edit them on my walkman as I will.

Preparation:Download and intall 4Easysoft Walkman Video Converter
Step 1:Run this software and click “Add File” button to import your files.
Step 2:Select the output format.
You can choose the ourput format from the profile drop-down list.
Click the “setting” button, you can set the Encoder, Resolution, Bitrate, etc.

Step 3:Choose the output fold.
You can click “Browse” to choose the output destination, or the default destination is D:\My Documents\4Easysoft Studio\Output
Step 4:Click “Start” button to begin the conversion.

Editing tips about this converter:
You can edit the videos/music during the preview.

Tip 1:Split segments randomly or exactly
Click “Trim” button, a dialogue pops up, you can trim the video/music in three ways:
a.Drag the slide bar.
b.Click the scissors button.
c.Set the end time and Start time.

Tip 2: Crop video play region to retain what you want
Click “Crop” button, a dialogue pops up, you can crop the video in three ways.
a.Choose the crop mode.
b.Set the crop values.
c.Adjust the crop frame.

Tip 3.Select your preference
Click the “Preference” button you can select the output destination, the Snapshot foler, the format of the snapshot image,etc.

Tip 4:Capture your favorite images
If you like the current image when preview video, you can use the "Snapshot" option. Just click the "Snapshot" button the image will be saved and you can click the "Open" button next to "Snapshot" button to open your picture.

Tip 5: Merge files into one
You can select “Merge into one file” to merge your files into one.

Though we have lost the king of pop, the music he lelft us is enough to remember him forever.

Demo programming sure is a big topic. But I wonder why I can't find a big community for it ? There are really few posts here.

Hello,

I wanted to know if anyone has interest in being apart of a joint venture on my music sites. I have over 600 artists on one site and over 500 on another site and i am the webmaster of 3 other music networks so as for media content and music videos we got that covered, we would like it so people can download a program (sorta like a i-tunes thing) and download and or purchase mp3s and music videos directly in the program, they can also register via the program. for the free mp3 downloads in the program for the un-registered version of the program it would only unlock a certain amount of free downloads per day.

Now this is where you can make money as a programmer, i want a pay version of the program as well where the consumers can pay a "very minimal amount" to purchase the program via paypal or 2checkout and it will unlock all digital downloads and music and music videos in the program and people can download them.

Hi.
For some of you interested by demo coding,
there's an image processing library called CImg,
that compiles some interesting demo effects in its sample program
(light bump effect, bouncing bubble, plasma, 3d landscape, fractals,...)

The interesting thing is that this library is multiplateform,
doesn't require DirectX or OpenGL at all, and that it is very simple
to use.
Effects programming is very compact (only few lines), it's like a pseudo code when you read the C++ source. Very useful (I think) to learn graphic programming and to create quick effects. This is not especially a demo programming ressource, but it helps for learning on demo-programming.

CppJAVA is geared towards anything to do with java or C++ (I know C++ farily well [I won 1st in the state], and I know Java AWT,threads,events,& graphics inside and out).

TICALC101 deals with anything to do with ticalcs (I know basic and TICGG, and I am still learning assembly. I am very well situated with the TI89, and I know the ti83+ inside and out, at least from the user-end).

PROGRAMMING101 deals with general concepts, applications, and ideas (i.e. 3D mechanics and graphics). I started out thinking programming was too tough, but I turned out to be one of the best as far as what I know, and I have mastered concept after concept, and learned many techniques and applications, all from just figuring it all out and experimenting.

Id like to know,which kind of intro/demo you prefer to write/watch.Are there still people focusing on the old-school-stuff like little tricky .com things (<512b) or do you prefer bigger things.Do you think,4ks focusing dos-platform are obsolete?Most(all?) demo-partys dont provide a dos-platform to support those things like sb16 for sound or unreal-cpu-mode.But in my oppinion those stuff shows best the coding-skillz of the artist.

What do you think bout 4kz without sound?sure,theres enough room for a stupid boom-boom,but a kick-ass-visual-experience isnt bad,too ;)

Are there any special tools youre prefering for creating demos/intros?I work with VC++/OGL for the win32-platform and (pure) tasm for dos.most things are calculated at runtime...

Hello guys, I just want to introduce my small project. This project just started for my cousins since they wanted to have some exercises to do during their summer vacation so i decided to make a program that will do the job.

Purpose:
Create worksheet for MDAS,fractions, algebra, statistics, length conversion... etc.

The program is not yet well-debugged and you may still see incorrect answers or senseless questions but most of the parts were ok. I hope you reply to this post and tell me whatever you can say about it.

trail version of delphi

Hi there:
I am looking to do dvd programming... Means trying to program a DVD
to play on big screen. The DVD will contain many videos and menus and
submenus.. As a person inserts DVD into a DVD Player it should
automatically play continuous loop of videos with the menus in the
bottom. Menus have an option to go to website and other videos etc..
Please help me in this... I need to know which software can I use to
do this and which programming language can I use? I already have
website pages in HTML with low quality images, some PDF Files,and
some .mpeg video files. Can I Play a website with low quality images
on a big sceen without any quality problems? How can I make a DVD to

Is it good technique to program demos in direct X?
Or should i spend my time where i am (dos, purprogramming ya know).
on the one hand i think directX would give me acces to a
huge range of computers where my demos can be played. On the other
hand, is it real demo programming to use dx?

I originally posted this message in the x86 assembler forums of this same website, but no one has replied yet, or just no one cares. I figure that if any demosceners are here, they'll be more knowledgable about my problem and perhaps willing to help. I know it's bad practice to post a message on two boards, but I realize that this message is probably better suited to this particular board. Please read onward.

Hello. After having some fun with VGA mode 13h I googled about video modes and found a program called TWEAK, which at the time sounded like the holy grail of VGA register programming. I spent last night and this morning coding in asm a small .256 file-parser, so I could just 'incbin' those files where I wanted them and have access to new video modes (lucky for me, the format is very simple...). The point is, that although now I have it 'implemented', it simply does not work. I checked everything numerous times and all seems to be in order, but the screen does not change to the mode I want (256x256:256). These are the sources thus far (very small...):

Addendum: I've heard from someone that 256x256-chained is an odd video mode, but I tried the program with TWEAK's other .256 files and none seemed to work. Also, I rechecked many more times from TWEAK's sources and nothing has helped ...

plasma demo help

hi folks,

i would like to write plasma demo using sin table as i have not done
something like this before. i would like to use it as a visual plugin
to my mp3 player.

i have searched all of google and have yet to find a decent tutorial
on how to write a 'sin' based plasma demo. if any of you can help that
would be great.

moving on i gather the plasma is created as a result of adding
multiple sin equations together and using that as the color index or
do 3 separate ones to get values for RGB.

my question by using the sin table sometimes the index value can be
negative (0 to 360 angle)! how do i avoid this? do i just cache the sin table with the
positive value region of sin?
