Im an artist creating a project that :
is portable (battery operated cpu)
receives wifi signal
evaluates the signal
sends a message to a microproscessor

what platform/compiler should i work on?
what language should i write the program in?
any ideas for microprocessors/portable cpu's?

basically the microprocessor needs to control some electrical device,
on-off type of thing
