Go to: http://www.free-ed.net/catalog.htm
There are free ecourses. Look under Career & Technology for Electronics.
Also go to: http://www.eta-sda.com/
This is where you find out how to get certified for electronics trades. Certification runs around $35 for Electronics Technician and you can advance 4 levels to Master. There are many other catagories that you can become certified in. Check out those two sites and email me if you have any question related to electronics.
The Navy has good occupations in electronics particularly on being a electronics repair technician on an Aircraft Carrier - which is also one of the safest place to work in a time of war.
You can also test administers while your on active duty and in various countries.
