i bought an oki 82c55a chip for my project and i have to use the mode 0 settings, do i have to program the chip to use the mode 0? or by default it's already set in mode 0? anyone please?

Hi Ken,
The 82c55a is set in mod 0 by default after reset. All the 24 input output lines will be input, no additional programming is needed.If you want any other configuration you have to programm it. Since I don't know what you want to do, so I don't know the control word for the 82c55a, you have to find out yourself.
