Please help/guide me to create a simple interface program that would control a residential electrical wiring.
Please give me a simple design and how to program it in the PC or to control it

This month's (November) issue of "Nuts and Volts" has an article about controlling electrical stuff through a simple interface connected to the serial port of a PC. You might want to see if you can find a copy of it somewhere. The control software (GW Basic) is here:

Otherwise, you can do it with X10 stuff. This is fairly sophisticated stuff, though. Take a look here:

I use the X-10 stuff. It's pretty neat. Before you buy wall modules, though, do a search on the web. I found some very inexpensive ones that were half the price of others.
