: Could anybody tell me the difference between VB and VBscript? I wonder as network stumbler(popular wardriving software or wi-fi searching software) can be used to run vbscript but not vb. Any expert here could guide me on vbscript programming will be appreciated.

vb is a full version programming language, vbscript is a very basic and limited scripting language, mostly used for internet programming, to perform very simple actions, such as adding numbers. It can of course do more complex actions, but if you are interested in learning to script, learn javascript, it is much more powerful (even microsft doesnt use vbscript for programming, they use javascript because they know also just how weak and useless vbscript is)
