link problem Posted by siumama on 17 Jul 2002 at 12:40 AM
hihi
i am new to flash. i am trying to make a linkage in the flash movie to a specific loaction of a page, in HTML, usually do it like <a href="page.htm#HERE>. But it doesn't work like that in my movie, i do it as follow : getURL ("page.htm#HERE"); but it just can't go to the place named HERE and go to the top of the page by itself......
does anyone know how to make it work??
thanks,
siumama

Hi...
I didn't knew that this was a problem until you mention it (I don't used named anchors when programming my pages).

I looked around the macromedia website and found the answer to your problem. Since it will be a little difficult to put all the information here, this is the link so you can go to the site.

Good Luck!
