Hello!

I am doing project on power line communication,as i am ready with the circuit requred. Can anyone suggest me about protocol please.

Which IC based circuit you have. Most of the PLC chip is coming with the integrated network protocol's like CENELAC A,B etc.

I am usin TDA 5051 PLC mODEM AND ds89c450 UC my circuit is now sending data and receiving also.
But the distance is only upto 5m.i want upto 1km.
How can i do that?

you may use the SIG60 device (www.yamar.com), it is a power line UART transceiver and does not need any protocol, just connect it to your UART port.
