Hi all,

I have got window 2000 on Pentium 4 1.5 GHz, 40Gbyte Hard Drive with two partitions (C and D) and two CDROM Drive (E and W) + A drive.

Lately, I am trying to add another 40Gbytes Hard Drive. I have set the old Hard Drive as Master and the new one as slave. Straight after connection, I turned on my computer and the BIOS detected my New hard Drive. In Device manager in Window2000, I can see my new hard Drive.

The problem is that, I would like to transfer some files from my old hard drive to my new hard drive. However, in "my computer" or "explorer", I could not see any new drives. Only A, C, D, E and W, as before. Any suggestions?

thanks for your attention,

Well did you setup any partitions and format them first?
