voice modem At-commands Posted by John on 29 May 1999 at 9:11 AM
I've got a serious problem here. How do I init my
voice modem for voice? There are different modems out
on the market. One with a speaker output and an inport
for microphone. The other one is like the first but
with an extra port for headset.

I've got the first one and I wonder how I can initialize
it for voice? The other modem with headset responds to
command such as

#cls=8 (For voice line)
#vls=n (n=5 or 6 in voice mode)

Well I have tried several modem and none of them responds
to anything of this except for the powebit modem. Can
someone help me out here I am in deep shit right now.
The project must be finished in two days.

/John
