BIOS Posted by Noidly1 on 8 Oct 2011 at 7:33 PM
I want to upgrade the BIOS on my computer and have downloaded a newer version. The problem is, it is a binary file and I want to SEE what it LOOKS like in the cmos setup pages before I decide to install it.

What program or editor do I use to SEE what the pages look like; ie the stuff that you select and change in cmos?

Also, how hard would it be to create a custom cmos on a proprietary machine so I can tweek all the variables I want that "they" don't show in "their" cmos?

Thanks.
