HTML is the easiest language, and w3schools is where I started a decade ago and it is really good for starting.

I think go and browse w3school.com site. It will help you to learn the basics first and then the advance level. Best part about the site is... you can practice the code then and there itself. After learning the coding implementation of code is must.

I want to suggest you to use W3school tutorial site the one of the best source for learning HTML. Its provide good guideline of all subject with good detail so you can easily understanding all coding and all HTML tags. I also used it to learn HTML.

you should just make some websites, you will get a lot of problems, just search in Google for the solution. I know your first websites won't be very good, but it's one of the best things to do to learn html & css.

You can learn HTML online, there are lot of sites available where you can learn about HTML. w3schools provide online tutorials for each language. I also learned from that site.
