if i got a homepage at geocities, tripod or other webspace providers, how can i put a chatroom on my page?<p>

The easyest way is to just goto a web site that offers then. Like a cgiforme or just do a web search for Free CGI. If you want to do your own then you will have to write a CGI and then make sure that your web server offers the CGI stuff. <p>

Just type in "free java chat room"<br>
in yahoo! and look around.<p>
