disable IE/Netscape buttons Posted by sarithsircar on 2 Apr 2004 at 9:39 AM
Hi!

Is there a way to disable the buttons in IE? I'm particularly interested in disabling the 'Back' button in Internet Explorer. Is there a script that would allow this? Please help!

Thanks!

Not possible with client-side JavaScript. It may be possible to intercept the browsers' button using ActiveX controls but for security reasons they normally require the user's permission.
