Add Text to Existing Image Posted by G.Manivannan on 17 May 2009 at 5:59 AM
Hai,

Is it possible to add text to image dynamically using javascript? My requirement is as below.

I have one button,a textbox and image tag in my webpage. Whatever the text I am typing in the textbox should be visible on the image showing the img tag of the webpage and if I click the button the text and image should be stored as single image in the given default path.

Please help me to fix this issue.

Thanks & Regards,
G.Manivannan, M.Sc.,[IT],

javascript can manipulate html elements easily, but the src attribut is ... different. You can create the illusion by layering text on the image then use PHP image processing to finish it off.
