Job Summary
Managing all aspects of the setup and maintenance of manual and automated build operations, including build script authoring, configuration management and build testing procedures. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in designing build processes, authoring build scripts, setting up a robust defect tracking and reporting system and organizing the build and release of internal and external product builds on multiple platforms and configurations.
Responsibilities
Defining and implementing procedures for internal and external releases of ongoing product versions.
Build script authoring to simplify and automate build processes, including build validation and error reporting.
Maintenance of build procedures including analysis of hardware and build software performance.
Management and testing of built projects on multiple SKUs and configurations.
Organization and management of defect tracking systems and error reporting.
Authoring of data validation tools to ensure assets used by project builds are error free.
Requirements
2+ years experience in managing build configurations, systems, automation, testing and error tracking
3+ years experience in software and systems engineering
Experience with build script authoring in batch file, VB script, or Windows script
Experience with defect tracking software, revision management and error reporting
Experience in QA procedures is beneficial
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
