Broadband Systems Group is working on behalf of a client with the following requirement for a full-time employee.

Senior Network Design Engineer

Job Functions:
Specify product design requirements for routing IP packets thru LAN/WAN Design and implement high performance network security devices in BITS and BITW modes. Analyzing the network requirement in computer and network security product.

Education Requirements:
Masters degree preferred, BS in CS or EE or related technical discipline required.

Experience and Skills:
Minimum 10 years, 15 preferred, of related network design experience
In-depth knowledge of router/switch design (Hardware and Software) and BGP-4, RIB, RIP/
In depth knowledge of TCP/IP and Routing Protocols
Experience with networking and communication protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, FTP, ICMP, DHCP ARP, SNMP
Experience with C/C++ Programming
Working knowledge of firewalls, IPSec and VPN
