Anyone, Please tell me the difference between Micro Kernel,Macro Kernel
and Monolithic Kernel.Which of these do you feel the best.

Micro kernel:
is based on the idea that the kernel has to as small as possible and should have a lot of modules around it. The Kernel it self is just for contrlling the modules. Used by Amoeba, WinNT, Minix, ...

Monolithic Kernel:
Used by Linux because Torvalds said the micro kernel system is maybe good but the communication between the modules is too comlicated, so he decided that all system calls go to one kernel.
Actually I'm not sure if still there is only one main kernel.

Macro Kernel:
never heard, maybe a mix of the above
