Just finished a clean install of SuSE 7.3 and thought I correctly configured the firewall through YaST2 (2 network cards).
External allowing (tcp settings) ftp smtp pop3 domain www (udp settings) domain Internal allowing (tcp settings) domain ssh
(udp settings) domain Now, from the linux box I can ping IP's external to my network and it shows the IP for eth0, but when I try and ping one of my other boxes it comes back unreachable and shows the IP for eth1.
My hopes are to configure the box to function as a router for my network.

Not sure where I need to go from here....

I am not an expert of networking.
If your subnetworks connected to firewall are not too big you can configure your route from the subnets. For example if your firewall is between the net1 and net2 you can configure the route from one subnet to other by setting the firewall as the gateway.

just configured your /etc/hosts file
put all the information about all host on ur LAN for seperate computer
if this doesnot work then reply me
